The Wall Street Hotel Review

The Wall Street Hotel in Downtown New York is one of our new favorite hotels in the city! This hotel is truly a luxury boutique hotel and is great for business travelers or leisure guests. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the fitness center is well equipped and the restaurants and bars are perfect for a quick breakfast or elegant dinner.

The Wall Street Hotel: Where Timeless Elegance Meets Contemporary Cool in Downtown Manhattan

The Wall Street Hotel - Entrance

In a city where luxury hotels are around every corner, The Wall Street Hotel rises above with a rare blend of history, hospitality, and elevated comfort. Tucked into the heart of New York’s Financial District, this independently owned, family-run hotel delivers a polished yet approachable experience that feels both deeply personal and authentically New York. Our recent stay in June 2025 with Live Luxe Travel Co confirmed what many insiders already know: The Wall Street Hotel isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a reason to return.

And remember, when you book your stay at The Wall Street Hotel with Live Luxe Travel Co, you’ll receive extra benefits through our Preferred Platinum Program like a $100 food & beverage credit, daily breakfast for two and a room upgrade, if available. And the Wall Street Hotel is part of our exclusive Travel Luxuriously Collection, offering our clients an extra $50 food & beverage credit.

Rooms and Suites

The accommodations at The Wall Street Hotel reflect thoughtful attention to detail and impeccable design. Each of the 180 guest rooms and suites feels like a calm, tailored retreat from the bustling streets below. Soothing palettes of soft gray, blue, and cream are punctuated with brass and marble accents, while curated art and bespoke furnishings add a residential feel.

The Wall Street Hotel - Suite

We stayed in one of the higher-category suites, which offered generous living space, floor-to-ceiling windows with dramatic city views, and a stunning bathroom outfitted with mosaic tile, heated floors, and a deep soaking tub. All rooms feature Frette linens, Nespresso Machines, Bluetooth speakers, and a well-stocked minibar curated with local snacks and craft beverages.

Notable highlights include:

  • Complimentary bottled water and in-room Nespresso machines

  • Smart room technology and intuitive lighting

  • Twice-daily housekeeping service with nightly turndown

The bathrooms are equally gorgeous and well equipped with Toto toilets and the bathrooms are stocked with Le Labo toiletries and have some of the best water pressure we’ve had in a New York City Hotel!

The Wall Street Hotel - Suite Bathroom

Restaurants and Bars

The hotel’s signature restaurant, La Marchande, helmed by Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser, is a modern brasserie that blends French cuisine with seasonal New York ingredients. Expect standouts like steak tartare with chili crisp, perfectly executed duck à l’orange, and a wine list that speaks to oenophiles.

For breakfast, the in-house offerings shine with fresh-baked pastries, avocado toast done right, and artisan coffee drinks — all served in a chic, light-filled dining room that doubles as a stylish co-working space during the day.

The adjacent Lounge on Pearl is both cocktail haven and casual meeting spot, where bartenders craft elevated classics with top-shelf spirits. The design is intimate and inviting, with plush velvet seating and library-inspired décor.

Room service is also available and maintains the same culinary excellence as the restaurant.

Amenities

While The Wall Street Hotel is boutique in size, it delivers on services and amenities in a big way. Highlights include:

  • 24-hour fitness center with Peloton bikes, free weights, and Technogym equipment

  • Complimentary house car service within a set radius of the hotel (available on a first-come, first-served basis)

  • Flexible meeting and event spaces including a stylish boardroom and intimate gathering rooms

  • Personalized concierge services that go beyond the typical — think Broadway ticket sourcing, private shopping, and reservations at impossible-to-book restaurants

  • Pet-friendly policies (your four-legged friends are welcomed with beds, bowls, and treats)

  • Thoughtful touches like curated welcome notes, fresh flowers, and a refined in-room dining experience

The Wall Street Hotel - Fitness Center

Location

Nestled in the Financial District at the corner of Wall and Pearl Streets, the hotel’s location is both strategic and surprisingly serene. Just a short walk to the World Trade Center, the Brooklyn Bridge, the ferry terminal, and South Street Seaport, it offers easy access to lower Manhattan’s most iconic landmarks. Yet thanks to its corner positioning and refined entry, the hotel feels like a hidden gem among the hustle.

The Wall Street Hotel - Reception

Transportation is simple with multiple subway lines within a few blocks, making uptown or Brooklyn excursions a breeze. And for those wanting to stay hyper-local, nearby shops, cocktail bars, and galleries have breathed new life into this historically business-focused neighborhood.

Overall Experience

From arrival to checkout, the experience at The Wall Street Hotel feels entirely elevated. Staff greet you with warmth and professionalism that never crosses into pretense. Service is intuitive, with an emphasis on getting to know you and anticipating your needs. The balance of classic hospitality and modern convenience makes for a memorable stay that is equally ideal for business travelers, couples, creatives, and families.

During our stay, we especially appreciated the quiet confidence of the property. It doesn't need to shout to prove its luxury credentials — it simply delivers.

Park Hyatt New York Review

The Park Hyatt New York offers luxurious accommodations in a home away from home along with an incredible fitness center & spa facilities plus white glove five star service.

Our Verdict

The Park Hyatt New York offers luxurious accommodations in a home away from home along with an incredible fitness center & spa facilities plus white glove five star service.

This review is based off of our personal stay in December of 2019. And don’t forget, if you are planning to stay at the Park Hyatt New York, book through Hyatt Privé to take advantage of exclusive complimentary extras like a confirmed room upgrade (if available), $100 hotel credit, daily breakfast and a welcome amenity. Plus through September of 2020, they’re offering a 3rd night free on Hyatt Privé reservations. To request Hyatt Privé rates, just visit liveluxetravelco.com/hyatt-prive.

If you are looking for an escape in the middle of bustling New York City, the Park Hyatt New York is just that. You might even forget you are in New York City unless you look out the window.

Park Hyatt New York

There are so many options when it comes to luxury hotels in New York City, but they all have something a little different to offer. The Park Hyatt New York is in a great location, just two blocks from Central Park, close to the 57th Street Subway Station and across the street from Carnegie Hall.

The Park Hyatt New York is a rather boutique with only 210 guest rooms on 15 floors including 92 luxurious suites. All of their rooms feature a work desk, separate soaking tub and rain shower, commissioned artwork in guest rooms and a built-in TV in the bathroom mirror.

Our Room

During our stay at the Park Hyatt New York, we stayed in a one bedroom city view suite. This 1,000 square foot escape in the heart of midtown offered panoramic views of 57th street with a glimpse of Central Park.

IMG_8175.jpg

From the moment you open the door to this premium suite, you will be amazed by the upscale materials, expansive living area, separate bedroom and gorgeous spa-like bathroom.

IMG_8138.jpg

Our personal favorite thing about this room was the large picturesque windows that offered sweeping views of the city as well as the luxurious bathroom and closet.

IMG_8142.jpg

As you probably already know, the Park Hyatt New York features Le Labo toiletries which happen to be a personal favorite. The Tubereuse 40 fragrance was a nice change from other Park Hyatt properties we have visited like Park Hyatt St Kitts, Park Hyatt Washington D.C., and Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme,

IMG_8170.jpg

The bedroom featured a king bed surrounded by a wall of windows on two sides with thick up-scale curtains that opened with the push of a button.

Amenities

If you are looking for an escape in the heart of New York City, the spa, fitness center and pool at the Park Hyatt New York will give you some serenity.

IMG_8207.jpg

The pool area at the Park Hyatt New York offers a place to rest, relax and recharge. In addition to a large pool that is suitable for swimming laps or just taking a leisurely swim, there is also a separate Jacuzzi and a steam room.

IMG_4427.JPG

If you’re like us, getting a good workout while traveling is essential. The fitness center at the Park Hyatt New York will give you the space, the machines and the technology to get a good workout in. The gym featured plenty of cardio equipment along with Peloton bikes (something we now judge hotel gyms by), a Mirror (interactive full-length mirror), self-powered treadmills, and plenty of weights.

While we didn’t have any services performed at the spa, from the reviews we have read and guests we spoke to, it’s top notch just like everything else at this property.

Dining

The Park Hyatt New York features one restaurant called The Living Room. The Living Room serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, afternoon tea, and light bites + cocktails.

The Hyatt Privé breakfast benefit can be used at The Living Room or through in-room dining. Since our trip to New York was quite relaxing, we didn’t feel like getting ready to go to breakfast each morning, so we ordered breakfast from an iPad in our suite.

Within minutes of placing our order for breakfast, the phone rang and a member of the in-room dining team was calling to confirm our order. When breakfast arrived the next day, the order was 100% correct (it surprising how many hotels mess up room service breakfast). And the breakfast was hot, another challenge with in-room dining.

IMG_2148.JPG

The in-room dining experience we had at the Park Hyatt New York was the best in-room dining experience we have ever had. What made our in-room dining experience was the quality of the food, the fact that it was served hot and the service.

The Park Hyatt brand is known to be ‘Masters of Food & Wine’ and that is exactly the experience we had at the Park Hyatt New York.

Service

If you’re looking to be treated like royalty or a celebrity, then book a stay at the Park Hyatt New York. From the moment you walk up to the hotel entrance on 57th street and are greeted by the friendly bell staff you will feel like you are at a home away from home.

There are two things that truly make a hotel experience memorable and that is the actual hotel itself and the level of service that they provide. The Park New York delivers a guest experience that is truly unique and memorable.

The check-in process was super easy and the front desk agent explained our Hyatt Privé benefits and answered our inquiries.

Overall Impression

Besides being immersed in the action of New York City, the Park Hyatt New York won one of 2018’s most luxurious hotels from Forbes. The luxurious environment, friendly staff, excellent food and drinks and hotel amenities make the Park Hyatt New York a must stay property when visiting New York City.

The commissioned artwork all over the hotel also adds to the experience of staying at this five star hotel. Everything in the Park Hyatt New York is chic and elegant and the interior is filled with polished marble and stone that promotes a sense of calm and soothing.

Our stay at the Park Hyatt New York was during the holidays, and the lobby was decorated very elegantly, just as one would expect.

IMG_8214.jpg

Extra Perks

And don’t forget, when you book the Park Hyatt New York with Live Luxe Travel Co. through our Hyatt Privé partnership, you’ll receive a $100 hotel credit to use on dining or at the spa, daily breakfast for two, a room upgrade and welcome amenity.

Weekend Wanderings: New York City Guide

New York City, the big apple or the city that never sleeps. New York City is a great place to spend a weekend eating great food, drinking delicious coffee, seeing incredible Broadway Shows and of course emptying your wallet or purse on some unique shopping. To give you some tips on where to stay, what to do and where to eat we put together a New York City Guide.

The Big Apple - New York City Guide

New York City, the big apple or the city that never sleeps. New York City is a great place to spend a weekend eating great food, drinking delicious coffee, seeing incredible Broadway Shows and of course emptying your wallet or purse on some unique shopping. To give you some tips on where to stay, what to do and where to eat we put together a New York City Guide.

Where To Stay

We love spending a weekend in New York City, but the city is spread out. So if you are only going to be in the big apple for a weekend, picking a hotel with a central location to your planned activities is very important. Keep reading our New York City Guide to see our favorite things to do in NYC.

Renwick Hotel: For a quick weekend trip, our pick would be The Renwick Hotel, part of Hilton's Curio Collection.

The Renwick

The Renwick

The Renwick is in a great location, just two blocks from Grand Central Station and a short walk to the United Nations, 5th Avenue and Central Park.

Hilton Honors Gold & Diamond Members get complimentary breakfast. The Gold & Diamond Member breakfast benefit is a special menu which features pastries, oatmeal, Greek yogurt or a homemade waffle. You’ll get to select three of the four items and breakfast includes juice or coffee. You'll need that breakfast before a full day of exploring the city.

If you don't mind being slightly displaced from a lot of the tourist attractions, the Conrad New York is another great option.

Where To Eat

New York City is full of amazing culinary adventures and is foodie haven. No matter what type of food you are looking for, you'll find it in the Big Apple. It was hard to narrow down our favorites places to eat in this New York City Guide.

Chobani Cafe: A few of our places include the Chobani Cafe . We are Greek Yogurt snobs and we are big fans of Chobani.

IMG_1151-1024x768.jpg

Whether you like sweet, savory or a little of both, the Chobani Cafe has a number of offerings that are sure to get you hooked! Their main feature is greek yogurt creations made from hand-selected artisanal ingredients. They have three types of yogurt creations; sweet, fruit and savory. Besides the yogurt creations they have Smit (Turkish Bread Ring) Sandwiches, salads, breakfast bowls and yogurt drinks. You can see their full menu here.

Eataly: Eataly is not only a place to eat, but it's a destination in itself. Eataly is the largest Italian marketplace in the world, comprising of a variety of restaurants, food and beverage counters, a bakery, retail store and even a cooking school. Every time we are in New York City, we make a point of indulging in at least one meal at Eataly.

IMG_1543-1024x768.jpg

Cookshop Chelsea: The Cookshop Chelsea is located near the High Line (another spot you must check out - see below). The Cookshop serves up farm-to-table” American fare that’s “creatively prepared” using seasonal, sustainable, and local ingredients. And the Cookshop has an incredible wine menu! If you are looking for cozy, romantic dinner, the Cookshop should definitely be added to your list.

IMG_1172-1024x768.jpg

Coffee

New York City is full of great coffee roasters and coffee shops. You'll never run out of options for caffeine in NYC. We would love to spend a weekend in the big apple just to have more coffee shops to feature in this New York City Guide.

La Colombe: We've wrote about La Colombe before, but La Colombe is probably one of our favorite coffee shops and coffee roasters. La Colombe, which started in Philadelphia, has not only landed all over New York City with numerous coffee shops, but also has changed the ready-to-drink coffee category with it's canned Draft Lattes found in most grocery stores and in most retailers. La Colombe's coffee and their lattes are some of our favorites, so make sure you add the coffee roaster to your New York City itinerary.

IMG_1171-1024x768.jpg

Irving Farm Coffee Roasters: With hip cafes popping up all over New York City, Irving Farm Coffee Roasters not only pours a delicious latte, but has a cool atmosphere where you can catch up on the news or just take a few minutes to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

IMG_1302-1024x768.jpg

Where to have Dessert

Cookie DŌ: While there are dozens of great options in New York City, one of the most unique places you need to visit is Cookie DŌ! Cookie DŌ serves you guessed it cookie dough. Some of you are probably thinking it isn’t safe to consume raw cookie dough. Don’t worry this DŌ is safe to eat! Just a warning…once you try this you will be obsessed.

What To Do

It's hard to fit everything there is to do in New York City in a weekend trip. But thanks to our New York City Guide here are a few of our recommendations to make the most of your weekend in the Big Apple.

Central Park: It's hard to believe that in the middle of New York City, there is a 843 acre park with over 20,000 trees! Central Park is an incredible place to take an early morning run, romantic stroll or afternoon bike ride. You won't even feel like you are in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world. Central Park is a majestic place that has to be on your itinerary for a trip to New York City.

IMG_1234-1024x768.jpg

Top of the Rock: Yes, we know, everyone likes the Empire State Building for the picturesque view of New York City. But we actually prefer the Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller Building. Not only do we think the view is better, but you can see the gorgeous Empire State Building plus the rest of the New York City skyline, making your picture opportunities even better. The Top of the Rock has two observation decks, 70 floors high with unobstructed 360° city views.

img_1581-1024x768.jpg

High Line: The High Line is an incredible experience that runs right through New York's Chelsea neighborhood. The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail. It was created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City.

high_line_new_york_city_landscape_urbanism3_original-1024x616.jpg

American Museum of Natural History: Not only are the Night at the Museum movies based off of the American Museum of Natural History, but the American Museum of Natural History is also one of the largest museums in the world. The entire museum spans 4 city blocks and consists of some 25 interconnected buildings which house 45 permanent exhibition halls, in addition to a planetarium and a library. A visit to the American Museum of Natural History is a must for your New York City trip but be sure to give yourself several hours to explore the dozens of exhibits.

IMG_1191-1024x768.jpg

Shopping on 5th Avenue: You won't find a better shopping corridor than New York's 5th Avenue. But if it's your first time shopping on 5th Avenue, it can be a bit overwhelming. Take your time and do a little research ahead of time to pick out a few stores you want to stop in. And do yourself a favor. Stop in Bergdorf Goodman, a New York City Institution. With that old-school luxury and service yet without that stuffy feeling, plus Bergdorf Goodman also recently renovated their main floor, the first redesign for the store in more than 30 years.

Catch a Broadway Show: There's no place better in the world for theater than Broadway. Do yourself a favor and book tickets to see a show on Broadway. We saw Wicked the Musical. Despite the fact that we've seen Wicked before, seeing Wicked on Broadway as truly an incredible experience.

IMG_1156-1024x768.jpg

Murray's Cheese:Murray's Cheese is an experience of itself. Murray's Cheese is essentially a foodie mecca offering an array of fine cheeses plus breads, cured meats, olives & other deli items. And Murray's Cheese sells Megpies.

IMG_1297-1024x768.jpg

We hope you put our New York City Guide to good use, you won't be disappointed.
